SUMMARY:Woodturning workshops in JUNE - please register before 15th of March
DESCRIPTION:Core course (two options: either Friday 21th or Saturday 22th June)\nDuring this day you will learn the basics of woodturning; what is a lathe\, how does it work\, use of different speeds\, safety measures\, which wood works best on the lathe\,  which chisels to use for what\, how to clamp the wood piece in for the different steps\,  rounding the wood piece and hollowing it out to make a bowl. \nprice 100€ (reduced price very kindly subsidized by the Amicale) Location Arnhem\nAfter your registered\, please wire the 100€ via https://www.bunq.me/woodpecker2 \nAdvanced course woodturning: turning a bowl out of wet wood (Sunday 23rd June)\nContinuing on the basic course\, this workshop focusses on turning wet wood (non dried wood) into a bowl.  This is normally a two day course in which the wet bowl will be allowed to dry for a month and then the final shape given on the lathe. The course was “compacted” into a one day course. By registering your child(ren) via the RSVP you will receive an email comprising a QR code for every child. \n  \nThis year you will need to CREATE AN ACCOUNT and login to register to the events (see user registration page)\, this way you’ll be able to manage all your registrations (see my bookings page). \nYour user account will be used for all future Amicale events hosted via this website \n  \nBy presenting the QR code at the Amicale desk you will get the required wristband and the voucher for a snack.  \nThe wristband/voucher distribution will take place on December the 4th\,6th\,8th at the Hinge canteen during the lunch hours. \n  \nThe wristband will give your children access to the following activities without extra registration: \nfree rental of ice skates for kids\,     ice skating in Funrink\, ice hockey hall and 400m track\, \n  Kids zone with bouncing castles for the 3-8 year olds\,      Face painting area\,      Balloon folding area\, \nthe ball pit for the little ones… \ncheck your junk mail / spam if you don’t see the email in your inbox within 5 min.  \n  \nChildren are required to be registered and accompanied by at least one parent.
