The Dutch Open Air Museum covers an area of around 44 hectares and is full of all kinds of authentic, unusual buildings. Each of these has its own fascinating history and an interesting story to tell. A unique collection of historic buildings from across the Netherlands. From a drainage mill to a dairy factory. Fancy visiting the buildings on Zaan Square? Or maybe taking a look inside the paper mill? Perhaps you’ll call in to see the farmer’s wife at work in the farmhouse from Varik?
Programme:
09:00 Departure by bus from the Office to Arnhem
10:30 – 12:00 Guided tour in Dutch, German, French or English (min. 10 people per language)
12:00 – 13:00 Lunch at the Kasteelboerderij
13:00 – 16:30 Free to discover the park including
or, optional, join the archery or “beugelen” activity between 13:15 – 14:45 hours
16:30 Departure by bus back to Rijswijk
Please note, everyone joining the event needs to register for an entrance ticket. The optional tickets will only provide extra access to the optional activities, but not the entrance to the park. Don’t forget to book the main entrance ticket as well!
